Richard Bird

Richard Bird is a Partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where involvement since November 2008 has focused on the development of intellectual property laws in China. Richard has published extensively on this subject, with notable works in various prominent journals, including pieces on antitrust rules for IP agreements and the enforcement of competition law related to intellectual property. Prior to this role, Richard served as a Senior Associate at Rydin Carlsten Advokatbyrå AB from 2005 to 2008 and worked as a Trainee Solicitor and Associate at Clifford Chance LLP between 1998 and 2005. Richard holds an LLB Hons in Law from King's College London and a Certificate in Legal Subjects - Intellectual Property from the University of Bristol.
