FRIENDS SELECT SCHOOL
Heather Fortune is an experienced music educator and musician with a strong background in both teaching and board leadership. Currently a board member at the Association for Popular Music Education and Rock to the Future, Heather has been a music teacher at Friends Select School since August 2005 and operates as a freelance musician since April 2000. Previous experience includes serving as a teaching artist with The Philadelphia Orchestra from August 2003 to May 2005. Heather holds both a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Boston University, completed in 1998 and 1996 respectively.
