As the vice president, chief technology officer, Carmo Martella provides information technology options and recommendations designed to enhance Froedtert Health’s success. His focus is to establish an effective, transparent and productive IT organization focused on providing quality service and support.

Carmo’s IT career spans over 25 years. He brings a wealth of experience from spending time in consulting and executive leadership roles for organizations such as IBM Global Services, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Amtrak, Washington, D.C. He has led organizations through mergers and acquisitions with a focus on technology alignment. Carmo also served as the CTO for a revenue-cycle company and was a board member for an IT consulting company listed on Nasdaq.

Carmo received his Bachelor of Arts from Illinois College, Jacksonville, Ill.; his Master’s in management information systems (ABD) from the University of Illinois at Springfield; and his MBA from Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil.
