Sony Jacob

Sony Jacob, MS, MBA, is senior vice president and chief information officer for Froedtert Health. Sony joined Froedtert Health in 2020. He has more than two decades of information technology leadership, most recently as chief information officer for SSM Health Care in St. Louis, where he oversaw the consolidation of four separate IT organizations and built an electronic health record hosting system that served 21 community hospitals.

Previously, he served as chief information officer for Presbyterian Health Care Services in Albuquerque, N.M., and was also interim CIO for Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee. Prior to that, Sony was CIO for Presentation Services PSAV, a hospitality technology company, and also served as CIO at Tecta America Corporation.

Sony holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics and telecommunications from Mangalore University in India, a Master of Science degree in technology management from Devry University’s Keller School of Management in Chicago, and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in health administration from Central Michigan University.
