Kyle is an Investment Associate with the Ontario Investment Team at Front Row Ventures. As a graduate of McMaster University’s Biomedical Discovery & Commercialization Program, he enjoys bridging the gap between the life sciences and entrepreneurship.
His passion for health entrepreneurship is routed in his previous work as a consultant for various early-stage ventures within the therapeutic and medical device sectors. In these positions, he has advised companies on their strategic business development, intellectual property strategies, market forecasting and financial modelling, and helped secured seed capital.
Kyle is a currently a PhD Student at McMaster University specializing in Chemical & Biological Engineering. His research explores the use of bacteriophages (bacterial viruses) to treat infections in the gut associated with chronic inflammatory conditions like Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Kyle spearheads a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and clinicians as they evaluate the therapeutic potential of bacteriophages within the gut environment.
