Marie-Agnès is a Ph.D Candidate in molecular biology at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine. Her research focuses on the mechanisms involved in reprogramming somatic cells to produce induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). On the other hand, she generates liver human organoids derived from iPSCs to model Alagille syndrome in vitro to understand the pathophysiology of this disease.
She is passionate about entrepreneurship, learning about new technologies and bringing innovative ideas to the next level. By joining FRV, Marie-Agnès was looking for a way to support new startups with great potential. Alongside with her research, she is enrolled in the Life Sciences Entrepreneurship Development Program (LSEDP) which provide strategies to develop and grow cutting-edge tech companies.
