Frontline AIDS
Oleksiy Smirnov is a Senior Programme Officer with extensive experience in coordinating HIV/AIDS prevention activities among NGOs in Southern Ukraine at ICF "International HIV/AIDS Alliance in Ukraine" since October 2003. Oleksiy has also worked as a freelance translator and interpreter since September 2000. Previous roles include serving as a H. Humphrey Fellow at NIDA International Program from 2008 to 2009 and a Senior Programme Officer at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance from 2003 to 2008. Oleksiy holds a Master's degree in Medieval Studies from Central European University and dual Master's degrees in History and International Relations from the University of Warsaw.
