Daniel L. is a seasoned venture capitalist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the media and technology sectors. As the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Waverley Capital since September 2017, Daniel leads a VC fund that invests in innovative start-ups in the media sector. Daniel also serves as an Investor and Board Member for companies such as the Professional Fighters League and fuboTV, and holds board positions at the UCLA Anderson Center for Media, Entertainment, & Sports, and UCLA Anderson School of Management. Additionally, Daniel founded Luminari Capital, focused on the $500B+ video ecosystem, and is involved with other notable firms including Roku Inc., The Athletic, Volley, and Wondery. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from UCLA, an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and an Executive Education Certification in Cybersecurity Governance from MIT Sloan School of Management.
