Michele R. Harper has over seven years of experience in the field of user experience (UX) design. Michele most recently worked as a UX Lead at Fuel Cycle starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of User Experience at Quigley from December 2021 to August 2023. Before that, they held multiple roles at designory starting in January 2014, including Senior UX Researcher from January 2017 to January 2022 and Senior UX Designer from January 2014 to January 2017. In these positions, they demonstrated their skills as a Nielsen Norman certified UX/UI designer and successfully managed and mentored teams of designers. Michele also educated executive-level and cross-disciplinary team members on lean and collaborative UX processes.
Michele R. Harper obtained a UX Certificate specialized in Interaction Design from Nielsen Norman Group in 2015. Michele also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Additionally, they have earned a Certificate in Accessibility from The Interaction Design Foundation, as well as a Certificate in Advanced Print and Graphic Communication from UCLA. Michele has obtained several additional certifications, including Generative AI Fundamentals, Google intro to Gen AI, Introduction to Large Language Models from Google, and Accessibility: How to design for all and How to Design for Augmented and Virtual Reality from The Interaction Design Foundation.
