Casey Brown

Casey Brown is a seasoned professional in advanced manufacturing and engineering with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Advanced Manufacturing at FuelCell Energy since May 2006, Casey leads the development of automation and data analysis for scaling solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) production. Previous roles at FuelCell Energy include Principal Engineer, where significant advancements in energy storage technology were achieved, and Senior Engineer, which involved groundbreaking designs in SOFC stack technology. As a Co-founder and Software Architect at Proving Grounds since February 2019, Casey developed a scoring tool for novice glider pilots. Earlier experience includes roles at Versa Power Systems, where adaptability during corporate changes was paramount, and Dana, where Casey contributed to new product development in heat exchangers. Education includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering focused on Automation and Control, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
