Kevin McHugh

Kevin McHugh is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Plant Engineering Manager at FuelCell Energy since December 2014. In this role, Kevin leads a team focused on developing the mechanical balance of plant systems for fuel cell-based power generation, hydrogen production, and carbon capture. Previous positions at FuelCell Energy included Senior Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed complex piping design, equipment selection, and management of R&D projects. Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, Kevin worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Naval Air Systems Command, where solutions for Naval Aircraft support equipment were developed, addressing unique challenges in a saltwater combat environment. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, obtained in 2009.
