Diego Carvalho

Diego Carvalho is a seasoned Software Engineer specializing in Computer Vision at Fugro since April 2014. Prior to this role, Diego completed a PhD in Medical Image Processing at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2010 to 2015 and served as a PhD Student focusing on Image Registration research. Diego has extensive experience in academia, having coordinated the Computer Graphics Group at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) from 2007 to 2010, managing research activities and software engineering projects, as well as lecturing on Mathematics and Computer Graphics at UNIVALI between 2009 and 2010. Diego holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from UFSC, obtained in 2007 and 2005, respectively.
