Erik Claassen

Erik Claassen is an experienced professional in the geospatial and surveying field, currently serving as Chairman of the SIG Inwinning at GeoBusiness Nederland since January 2021. At Fugro, Erik has held multiple managerial roles since April 2011, including Manager of Land & DimCon Survey Europe, where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and promoting growth and innovation in Land & Dimension Control services. Previously, Erik also served as Manager Digital Plants Europe and Head of Geo-Information, alongside roles in Control Measurements. Early career experience includes positions as Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer specializing in 3D Laser Scanning at Fugro-Inpark B.V., and a trainee role in Remote Sensing at CSIRO. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Geodetic Engineering, Photogrammetry, and Remote Sensing from Delft University of Technology.
