Marco Filippone

Marco Filippone is an experienced professional in hydrography and oceanography, currently serving as Solution Director Hydrography and Product Owner of Fugro USV at Fugro since March 2015. With a background that includes leadership roles such as Service Line Manager and Operations Manager, Marco has extensive knowledge in managing hydrographic and cable route surveys. Prior experience with the Italian Navy includes positions as a Navy Officer specialized in hydrography, Party Chief, and Marine Surveyor, utilizing various hydrographic systems and software. Academic qualifications include an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a PhD in System Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova, and multiple advanced degrees in hydrography and marine geomatics.
