Fuji is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. of Toyama, Japan. Fuji Chemical, founded in 1946, is a manufacturer of pharmaceutical ingredients. Over the years, Fuji Chemical has developed a unique and proprietary technology for powdering which led to the development of excipients with extraordinary properties. Three of these high performance excipients, Fujicalin, Neusilin and F-MELT are being offered by Fuji  to our customers.

We can also provide our spray drying expertise and formulation services to solve solubility issues such as by amorphous solid dispersion which improves API properties, to produce high value APIs.

With over 50 years of experience in spray drying technology, we are fully equipped from lab to cGMP commercial scale spray dryers to assist your project form early-stage development through commercial production. 

Also, in responding to customer demand, Fuji installed a new High Containment Spray Drying Facility for Highly Potent Compounds, which implements stringent containment measures corresponding to chemical hazards.


1. Fujicalin: the perfect sphere for direct compression and granulation with improves blend uniformity, promotes rapid disintegration and is less abrasive to the press.
2. F-MELT: the directly compressible ready-to-use excipient for ODTs. F-MELT provides good mouth feel and good tablet stability.
3. Neusilin: the multi-functional material that has made solid dispersion a viable technology and competent adsorbent for liquid and SMEDDS.
4. Contract spray drying service: lab to cGMP commercial scale spray drying service (up to Category 4 available)
