Dawn Catton has over two decades of experience in quality assurance and microbiology within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as a QA Manager at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since April 2001, Dawn oversees the QA review and closure of Laboratory Investigations, events, and deviations, while also managing documentation across the validation lifecycle. Prior experience includes working as an Operations Microbiologist at Avecia, where responsibilities included inoculum preparation and deviation investigation, and as a QC/QA Technician at Eldon Laboratories, focusing on inspections, raw material testing, and laboratory management. Dawn holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Microbiology from the University of Sunderland and A levels from South Tyneside College.
