Associate Director, Program Design - Viral Gene Therapies at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies

Nishant Pawa is currently the Associate Director, Program Design - Viral Gene Therapies at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies. Previously, Nishant worked as a Program Design Manager at Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, where they contributed towards the development of a high-throughput RT-qPCR physical titre assay for lentiviruses. Prior to that, Nishant served as a Development Scientist at hVIVO, focusing on respiratory viruses using the Human Challenge Model (HCM) and developing a new proprietary RSV stabilization transport matrix. Nishant holds a PhD in Virology from Barts and the London, School of Medicine and Dentistry, an MSc in Molecular Biology and Pathology of Viruses from Imperial College London, and a BSc in Biochemistry from Queen Mary University of London.
