Rachael Hanslip is a Programme Design Manager at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, where responsibilities include designing the scope and pricing of programmes for clients since April 2011. Previously, Rachael held the position of Senior Research Scientist, focusing on process transfer and development at laboratory scale, leading to cGMP manufacture. Earlier experience includes roles at Avecia Biologics as a Manufacturing Scientist, facilitating new product introduction into cGMP, and providing technical support for operations, as well as a tenure at Angel Biotechnology, where Rachael worked as a Cell Culture Scientist and Fermentation Scientist, optimizing processes for early phase programmes and technology transfer. Rachael holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering and a BSc in Microbiology, both from Newcastle University.
