Dr. Carissa Spisak

Dr. Carissa Spisak's work experience includes serving as a Chief of Staff at Fulfill.com since January 2022. Dr. Carissa is also a Co-Owner at OK Boomer since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Speech Language Pathologist at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center from May 2020 to May 2022, at Genesis Rehab Services from October 2018 to May 2022, at Capital Area Intermediate Unit from February 2019 to May 2020, at Carolinas Hospital System - Marion from February 2018 to September 2018, at HealthPRO/Heritage from July 2017 to September 2018. Dr. Carissa also served as a Graduate Student Clinician at Infant Toddler Services of Johnson County from September 2016 to November 2016 and at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab from May 2016 to July 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Rockhurst University from August 2015 to May 2016.

Dr. Carissa Spisak has a diverse education history in the field of Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist. In 2011, they enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, General. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2015, they furthered their education at Rockhurst University. Dr. Carissa obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from Rockhurst University in 2017.

Dr. Spisak continued their academic journey at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, where they began pursuing a Doctor of Clinical Science (SLPD) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist in 2018. Dr. Carissa completed their doctoral studies in 2021.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, Dr. Spisak has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Additionally, in 2020, Dr. Spisak became BLS/CPR Certified through the American Heart Association.
