Mark Hyman

Mark Hyman, MD, is a prominent figure in the field of functional medicine, currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Function Health since January 2022. Hyman founded the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine and has been the Senior Medical Advisor there since September 2014. Additionally, Hyman founded and serves as Medical Director of The UltraWellness Center and has held the position of Board President of Clinical Affairs at the Institute for Functional Medicine since May 2001. Hyman's earlier career included a role as Co-Medical Director at Canyon Ranch from April 1996 to December 2004. Hyman's educational background includes a Family Practice Residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and an MD from Ottawa University School of Medicine, complemented by a BA in Asian Studies from Cornell University.
