Jun Yang

Jun Yang serves as the Head of Credit Strategy and Customer Analytics at Funding Circle US since October 2021, bringing extensive experience in credit strategy and analytics. Previously, Jun held the position of VP, Credit Strategy and Analytics at Sallie Mae, overseeing credit risk strategy for personal loans and student credit cards. Prior roles include Sr. Director at MyBank, where Jun led the credit management Center of Excellence, and Sr. Director at Discover Financial Services, managing various credit and underwriting strategies over a 12-year tenure. Jun holds an Executive Education degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from the University of Cincinnati, and both a Master of Science in Management Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Tianjin University.
