Tiaan May is an experienced risk management professional with a strong background in the financial sector. Currently serving as Head of Risk for FundRock since March 2023, Tiaan has previously held significant positions such as Market Risk Manager at Sanne and Risk Manager for Novare Holdings, where responsibilities included compliance, client engagement, and risk framework development. Tiaan's earlier career includes roles at Maitland, where leadership and oversight in hedge fund accounting were key, as well as positions at Bloomberg LP and The Burgiss Group focused on mutual fund analysis and financial research. Tiaan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Investment Management and Finance from Stellenbosch University.
