Stefan Spiegel has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Stefan is currently working as the Head of Content at funk - Content-Netzwerk von ARD und ZDF since April 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded Marmota Maps in 2015. Stefan also worked as a Team Lead Content Strategy at ARD Mediathek from June 2020 to March 2021. From October 2016 to June 2020, they served as a Creative Producer/Format Developer at funk - Content-Netzwerk von ARD und ZDF. Before entering the media industry, they worked as a TV Editor at Norddeutscher Rundfunk from August 2013 to September 2016 and completed a traineeship there from February 2012 to July 2013. Stefan also gained consulting experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers WPG AG from February 2010 to January 2012. Additionally, they held the position of Head of Program at Radio Q from 2006 to 2008.
Stefan Spiegel earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from the University of Münster, where they studied from 2004 to 2009.

funk ist das Content-Netzwerk von ARD und ZDF, das Online-Inhalte für 14- bis 29-Jährige bietet. Die über 60 funk-Formate aus den Bereichen Information, Orientierung und Unterhaltung sind auf YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Spotify sowie auf funk.net zu finden. Die Inhalte entstehen in Redaktionen von ARD und ZDF in ganz Deutschland und zusammen mit Creator:innen und Produzent:innen. funk arbeitet mit etablierten Köpfen der Webvideo-Szene zusammen, unterstützt und fördert aber auch Newcomer:innen. Die funk-Zentrale in Mainz trifft strategische Entscheidungen, entwickelt das Angebotsportfolio und optimiert zusammen mit den Partner:innen die Formate.
