Niclas von Bernstorff

Niclas von Bernstorff is currently involved in the Key Account Division at Funk since January 2024 and serves as a lecturer at HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration since May 2016. Previously, Niclas held the position of Client & Broker Engagement Manager at AIG from July 2018 to December 2023 and was the Director of Marketing & Sales at TRUST RISK CONTROL from May 2016 to July 2018. Niclas has extensive underwriting experience with XL Catlin, managing Product Recall and Kidnap & Ransom risks in the DACH region from July 2012 to May 2016. Prior roles include the Placing Broker at Aon Risk Solutions and Founder of LB Media GmbH, a mentoring platform for young professionals. Niclas began a career with a student trainee position at PricewaterhouseCoopers in FDI and Investment Guarantees. Niclas holds an MBA from Leuphana University of Lüneburg and two bachelor's degrees in Economics from The University of Bonn and The American University in Cairo.
