Fangzhou Chen

Fangzhou CHEN currently serves as the Investment Manager leading the North American investment team at FunPlus since November 2023. Previously, Fangzhou was an Investment Analyst at ZhenFund from June 2021 to November 2023, focusing on technology and innovations. Fangzhou's experience also includes a role in Government Relations at Tesla, where significant PR incidents were managed in 2021 and over 30 million RMB in government subsidies were secured in Guangdong. Additionally, Fangzhou worked in Innovations & Tech at LVMH and played a key role in investment and government relations at FOSUN, assisting in raising 1.7 billion RMB for an early-stage fund. Early career experiences include positions as a Policy Researcher at the BRICS Policy Center, investment roles at Shenzhen Capital Group Co., Ltd, and in marketing at Camelia. Fangzhou co-founded several startups between 2015 and 2017. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration from EDHEC Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Sciences Po, and an exchange program at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
