Ignacio San Miguel Gil has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ignacio started their career as a Quality Technician at Asociación Española para la Calidad in 2001. Ignacio then worked as a Quality and Safety Coordinator at Aljoma Lumber, Inc. in 2004 before moving on to become a Quality Assurance Specialist at Polyglass USA / Mapei from 2004 to 2006. Ignacio then worked as a Process Engineer at Boral Roofing from 2006 to 2007 before transitioning to CIGNA Healthcare, where they served as a Process and Administration Manager from 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2017, Ignacio worked at Best Doctors, holding roles such as Service Operations Manager, Director of Operations and Quality, and Director of Insurance Operations EMEAA. In 2017, they joined Further as the Director of Operations and later became the Director of Underwriting and Claims. In 2018, Ignacio took on the role of Global Business Support Director at Further.
Ignacio San Miguel Gil obtained a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they studied from 1991 to 2000. In 2000-2001, they pursued a Total Quality Management program at the same university. In 2008, Ignacio attended CIGNA University for a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Recently, in 2020, they completed a course at Colegio de Mediadores de Seguros de Madrid, specializing in Insurance (Seguros) and obtained the "Mediador Seguros Grupo A" degree.
