Gary Coons, P.E. has extensive experience in electrical engineering, currently serving as Electrical Engineering Manager and Sr. Electrical Project Manager/Electrical Engineer at Fusion Industries, LLC since December 2014. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, schedules, designs, procurement, construction, and commissioning, as well as overseeing the installation of electrical equipment such as transformers and switchgears. Previously, Gary held various roles at Southwest Electric Co. from December 1991 to December 2014, including Senior Electrical Design Engineer, where design work involved power transformers and compliance with IEEE/ANSI standards, and multiple testing and assembly roles focused on transformer manufacturing processes. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Arizona State University and an Associate's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Oklahoma City Community College, among other educational credentials.
