James Kerns has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. James began as an Intern at Lockheed Martin where they maintained internal web pages and databases. In 2011, they interned again at Lockheed Martin. Later, from 2008 to 2011, James worked as a Patio/Pool Server at Stonewall Resort. In 2012, they became an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Lewis County High School. Subsequently, they joined SRA International as a Software Engineer in 2012 and worked there until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, James worked at Tygart Technology, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Fusion Technology LLC. James started as a Senior Software Engineer in 2017 and later transitioned to the role of Senior Pega Developer in 2018.
James Kerns completed their education at the West Virginia University Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Lewis County High School from 2004 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. Additionally, James obtained certifications as a Pegasystems Certified System Architect from Pegasystems in August 2016, and as a SAFe® 4 Certified Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2018.
