Lalit Gupta has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Lalit started their career as a Software Developer at Webtek Software - Dresdner Kleinwort in 1998. After three years, they transitioned into the finance industry, joining Dresdner Kleinwort as a Vice President in Rates Trading. Lalit worked in this role for eight years before moving on to Futures First in 2010. At Futures First, they held various roles including Head of Capital Markets, CEO, and currently serves as the Head of Market Making. Lalit Gupta's expertise lies in managing Indian offices, improving revenues, introducing new products and strategies, and broadening the mindset within the company.
Lalit Gupta completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Textile Technology and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 1994 to 1998. Lalit then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business from 2000 to 2002.
