Hemani Naran

Hemani Naran currently serves as the Director of International Development for the Middle East and Africa at FutureLearn, responsible for developing growth strategies and managing partnerships with universities, corporates, and nonprofits. Hemani previously worked at Pearson from March 2017 to December 2023 as a Senior Consultant and Regional Development Manager, focusing on strategy and solutions for English Language Learning clients, managing key accounts, and representing Pearson as a thought leader at international conferences. Additionally, Hemani has experience as Head Instructor at Speak Language Institute DMCC, where responsibilities included ESL instruction and curriculum development, as well as previous roles in marketing, business development, and ESL instruction across various organizations. Hemani holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Cape Town.
