Brett Rasmussen

Brett Rasmussen has been working in the software development industry since 2006. Brett began their career as a Ruby Developer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brett then moved on to become a Ruby on Rails Developer for Surgeworks and the University of Utah, where they also served as a Choral Conductor. In 2008, they held the role of Ruby on Rails Programmer for Aculis, and also served as Music Director for Timpanogos Chorale. In 2009, they were a Ruby Team Lead Developer for PMA Media Group and a Ruby on Rails Programmer for Aculis. In 2010, they worked as a Ruby on Rails Programmer for Franklin Estimating, where they developed many features on a large-scale MIS for print-job estimation and served as lead developer. In 2018, they began their current role as a Ruby Developer for Futuri Media.

Brett Rasmussen attended the University of Utah from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a DMA in Choral Conducting. Brett also earned a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Utah from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Brigham Young University from 1988 to 1995, where they earned a BA/BS in Music/Psychology.
