Currently serving as an Advisor to the Executive Team and Vice President of Business Development at G.I.S. since October 2014, Josh also operates as a Franchise Owner at Smalls Sliders since May 2022. Previous roles include Director of Sales for Offshore/Marine at Carboline Company and Senior Account Manager at Danos. Early career experience includes managing the TLF Labor Division at ES&H Production Group. Josh Son holds a Bachelor's degree in Allied Health with a Concentration in Sports Science from Nicholls State University, earned between 2000 and 2004.

Established in 1948 in Grand Isle, LA, GIS began as a modest company serving the commercial fishing industry. It quickly evolved, entering into the emerging Oil & Gas Industry in the Gulf of Mexico.
