Alex Whitlock has a diverse work experience history. They started their career as a Data Processor at Summit Computer Recruitment Ltd in 2004. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Exeter. Following that, they joined itecopeople in 2006 and served as a Researcher, focusing on sourcing IT and management talent for clients. In 2010, they joined G-Research as a Recruiter and later became the Recruiting Team Lead, specializing in hiring quants and expanding the search internationally. In 2015, they were promoted to Head of Talent Acquisition for G-Research, leading a team of 20 and overseeing workforce planning, employer branding, and market intelligence.
Alex Whitlock attended the University of Exeter from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a BSc in Psychology.
