Joseph Featherston is a Principal Software Engineer and Systems Engineer at GA-CCRi, where employment began in June 2013. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Development Consultant at OpenSource Connections, providing Solr support, and working as a Programmer at the UVA Material Science Department, converting Fortran code to a Java Applet. Additionally, Joseph was a Computing Advisor at the University of Virginia, assisting with basic computing issues in dormitories. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Virginia, earned from 2009 to 2013.

Our systems apply state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenologies to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground. These analytics are designed to determine not just where something is, but what it is, where it's been and what it's doing. All of this "data to knowledge" is made available to end users in our own browser-based application for visualization, analysis, and understanding.
