Taryn Price currently serves as the Head of Engineering in the GSA Department and as Product Manager and Staff Development Coordinator for the Federal Portfolio at GA-CCRi since September 2021. Taryn Price's responsibilities include planning and coordinating the technical execution of user-facing features while managing staffing needs across a portfolio of approximately 150 employees. Prior experience includes the role of Associate Director of Data Science at Wayfair, where expertise in text and image data extraction was developed, and leadership positions at Commonwealth Computer Research, Inc. (CCRi) as Director of Data Science and Principal Data Scientist, focusing on situational awareness and data fusion. Taryn Price's earlier roles include Data Scientist at Elder Research, Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Diabetes Technology, and a teaching position within Albemarle County Public Schools, complemented by managerial experience at Sears Holdings Corporation. Taryn Price holds a Master of Engineering and a Master of Science from the University of Virginia, as well as a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, all in engineering disciplines.

These analytics are designed to determine not just where something is, but what it is, where it's been and what it's doing. All of this "data to knowledge" is made available to end users in our own browser-based application for visualization, analysis, and understanding.
