Lynn Riley Stokes

Lynn Riley Stokes joined Gables to lead the Gables Development Department. As Gables' Regional Vice President of Design, Lynn brings consistency and national standards to new construction projects in all Gables' Development regions, while factoring in regional expectations and local life-styles and trends, to meet market demands. Lynn has over 15 years' experience in residential architecture, including single family, multi-family, student housing, urban planning, mixed-use and institutional projects, including Award-winning single family homes with Hugh Newell Jacobsen, FAIA, mixed-use and urban renewal projects with SBA, partnering with Foster + Partners. Lynn’s experience includes teaching design at UMD. Lynn holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Maryland, School of Architecture, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University. Lynn is a Registered Architect in the state of Maryland, active in the American Institute of Architects, and also a LEED Green Associate.
