Romana Duthie

Romana’s main areas of expertise include retail leasing, commercial leasing, telecommunications leasing, franchise-related property transactions, property sales and acquisitions and property development.

Romana conducts transactional work for numerous property developers including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing of developed space. She undertakes property due diligence in respect of property acquisitions. She also conducts due diligence on the behalf of major financial institutions, including the examination of leases with respect to real property security for financial accommodation.

Romana’s professional affiliations include membership of the Property Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and the TSA Australia’s National Society for Telecommunications People.

Romana has been voted by peers as a “Best Lawyer” in the category of Real Property Law. She has been “recommended” by Doyle’s Guide in the area of Leading Leasing Lawyers in Victoria for 2019.
