Gainesville Regional Utilities
Gary Grubbs has extensive experience working in the engineering and environmental field. Gary began their career at WorleyParsons in 1990, where they served as a Senior Environmental Engineer for 28 years. In this role, they gained expertise in technical leadership, engineering operations, and capital projects. Their responsibilities included the design, specification, selection, project management, troubleshooting, and operation and maintenance of Air Quality Control systems for various pollutants. Gary also worked on advanced air quality control systems. In 2019, they joined Gainesville Regional Utilities as an Engineer Utility Designer 4.
Gary Grubbs attended the University of South Carolina from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Gary then went on to obtain a certification as a Professional Engineer from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation in May 2018.
