Craig Dixon is a venture partner at Gaingels. Craig was previously an angel investor and the founder of Global Black Syndicate. Craig also founded BlackStar Ventures LLC and The St. James. Craig has also worked as senior counsel and assistant secretary at Smithfield Foods, Inc. and as an associate at McGuireWoods and Cooley LLP. Craig began their career as a law clerk to the Honorable James R. Spencer at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Craig Dixon's educational career began at Episcopal High School, where they earned their diploma. Craig then attended William & Mary for their undergraduate degree, earning a B.B.A. in finance. Dixon continued their education at William & Mary Law School, earning their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Finally, they attended Harvard Business School, where they earned a PLDA 11 in leadership, business strategy, risk management, and negotiations.
