Galilee Medical Center (GMC) is a 733 bed academic public hospital serving a diverse population of some 660,000 residents of northern Israel including Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Druze, with advanced professional and compassionate care.
The largest hospital in the Galilee region of northern Israel, GMC has 70 departments and specialty units and a staff of 3,001 making it the largest employer in the area. Galilee Medical Center is affiliated with the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine Bar Ilan University and serves as the main clinical training facility for its medical students. 
Given its proximity to the Lebanese border, Galilee Medical Center operates on the frontlines of the regional conflict. It is fully prepared for security emergencies, featuring Israel's first operational underground hospital.
