Andrew Trister, MD PhD, currently serves as Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Verily, leading research, science, and population health initiatives to advance precision health. Trister is also the Chief Scientific Officer at Galvani Bioelectronics and a member of the board of directors for both Galvani Bioelectronics and Nusano. In addition, Trister provides strategic advice to Enya.ai and held the role of Technical Advisor at Neumora. Previously, Trister was Deputy Director for Digital Health and AI at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and has experience in clinical research and health technology roles at various institutions, including Apple, where Trister was a founding member of the Health team. Educationally, Trister holds multiple degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, including an MD and a PhD in Bioengineering.
