Gerald Hunsberger

Gerald Hunsberger is an experienced investigator in disease biology at Galvani Bioelectronics, specializing in bioelectronics for respiratory conditions such as asthma and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Expertise includes conducting ex vivo compound action potential recordings, assessing bronchopulmonary selectivity of electrical stimuli, and supporting preclinical development for novel disease targets. Previously, at GlaxoSmithKline, Hunsberger contributed significantly as a project scientist and investigator in respiratory therapeutic areas, leading optimization projects that resulted in key drug candidates for COPD and chronic cough.
