Florian T. Komac is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in portfolio and investment management. Currently serving as an Investment Manager and Senior Portfolio Manager at GAM Investments since 2019, Florian has previously held significant roles, including Portfolio Manager at XL Catlin, where management of corporate credit portfolios valued at $1.5 billion was undertaken. Additional experience includes managing proprietary credit and ALM portfolios at Swiss Reinsurance Company, as well as pioneering corporate bond research at Pioneer Investments. Early career roles ranged from an internship at Banco Popular to various positions at HypoVereinsbank and military service as a Mountain Ranger Platoon member. Florian holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt degree in Business Administration and Management from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, complemented by studies at the University of San Francisco.
