Harish Chhatija

Senior Application Engineer at Gamma Technologies

Harish Chhatija has a diverse range of work experience. Harish started their career at SolarPack @ NC State in 2019 as a Thermal Team Member, where they collaborated with a team to develop a solar-powered vehicle. Harish performed thermal analysis and presented the results to the management team. Harish also volunteered in the fabrication of cooling systems. In 2020, they became the Thermal Team lead at SolarPack before moving on to join North Carolina State University. At the university, they worked as a Tutor, providing individual and small group tutoring to student-athletes. Harish also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher in the Thermal Energy Research and Management Lab, where they enhanced heat transfer and pressure drop performance of microchannel cooling systems through analysis and optimization. Currently, Harish Chhatija is working at Gamma Technologies as an Application Engineer, but the end date for this role is unknown.

Harish Chhatija completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Durg, from 2015 to 2019. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University between 2019 and 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Harish has obtained various certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. These include being certified as a SOLIDWORKS Associate - Mechanical Design by Dassault Systèmes in May 2021, completing the FloTherm Introduction course by Siemens in January 2021, and finishing the Machine Learning course on Coursera in July 2020. Harish also obtained certifications in Advanced CFD using ANSYS Fluent from Skill-Lync in August 2019, Python Data Structures and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from Coursera in April and March 2019 respectively, and completed the Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics using MATLAB and OpenFOAM course from Skill-Lync in September 2018.

It is worth noting that Harish Chhatija's educational background does not include details about obtaining the Fluid Mechanics certification from NPTEL, as the obtained month and year are not provided.
