Alberto Barrio

Alberto Barrio is a seasoned professional in design and business, currently serving as Managing Partner and CEO at Garaje de Ideas in Spain since January 2015, where Alberto also holds positions as Chief Design Officer and COO. Additionally, Alberto is a Partner at Gen/D, which specializes in data, design, and digital solutions, and has been a Professor at Miami Ad School Madrid since May 2017. Prior experience includes working as an Interaction and Visual Designer at Designit from July 2008 to December 2014. Alberto’s educational background includes a specialized program in Digital Transformation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2020-2021), a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from ESIC Business & Marketing School (2003-2008), and a Master in Design from Aula Creactiva (2008-2009).
