Gunes Gozen

Gunes Gozen currently serves as the Head of Sustainable Finance at Garanti BBVA since March 2025, following a decade of experience at ING from July 2016 to February 2025 in various sustainability-focused roles, including Sustainability Manager and Vice President of Sustainable Finance. At ING, Gunes engaged with multinational clients in the Telecom, Technology, and Real Estate sectors across EMEA, advising on the integration of sustainability into financing strategies and product structures, including Green, Social, and Sustainability-linked debt instruments. Gunes also monitored regulatory developments in sustainable finance and assessed ESG criteria for client applications. Earlier professional experiences include internships in procurement, human resources, sales, logistics, and general assistance roles at various companies. Gunes holds an Engineer's Degree in Manufacturing Systems and Industrial Engineering from Sabanci University and studied as an exchange student at Aalto University.
