Michael Ontiveros is a data scientist and epidemiologist currently employed at Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this role, Michael worked at the CDC Foundation as an epidemiologist from November 2021 to April 2023, and held a previous position there as a data scientist and epidemiologist from September 2020 to August 2021. Michael gained experience as a data scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from August 2019 to August 2020 and contributed as a volunteer in the syringe services program at Bienestar Human Services in 2017. Michael holds a Master of Health Science in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2019-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies from The Johns Hopkins University (2015-2019).
