Clancy Powell is a seasoned Principal Gameplay Designer at Gardens Interactive since February 2025, following a significant tenure as Senior Lead Designer at Hidden Path Entertainment. At Hidden Path, Clancy contributed to an unreleased open-world D&D RPG, leading teams in level design, encounter design, and combat design, while fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. Clancy's early career involved roles at Turtle Rock Studios, Red 5 Studios, 38 Studios, ZeniMax Online Studios, Sony Online Entertainment, and Gearbox Software, with involvement in prominent projects such as Elder Scrolls Online, Evolve, and Firefall. Clancy holds a Masters of Interactive Technology in Digital Game Development with a focus on Level Design from Southern Methodist University and dual BS degrees in Marketing from Montana State University-Bozeman and Tulane University.
