Marla R Finley

Marla R Finley is an experienced educator and leader with a diverse background in teaching, community development, and counseling. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Math and Science Teacher at Southgate STEM Elementary within the Garland Independent School District, Marla previously held the position of Youth & Families Staff Leader at Highland Oaks Church Of Christ, where event planning and community engagement were central to supporting families and enhancing volunteer programs. Prior experience includes teaching Spanish at Little Acorns Child Development Center and managing a sales team at Mannatech Incorporated, where Marla achieved top leadership levels. Additionally, Marla worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor, providing trauma-informed psychotherapy. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Abilene Christian University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, along with minors in Spanish and Bible from Harding University.
