Grant Wittenborn

Grant Wittenborn serves as the Director of Flight Operations at Garmin since August 2006, overseeing all aspects of company flight operations including aircraft modification, flight testing, transportation, maintenance, pilot training, and safety. Previously, Grant held positions including ODA UM Flight Test Pilot, Senior Manager of Flight Operations, Team Lead for Experimental Flight Test, and Flight Test Engineer, where responsibilities included leading avionics and autopilot development and certification efforts. Prior experience includes serving as an Aerospace Engineer at DAR Corporation, focusing on preliminary designs for aerospace vehicles, and working as a Fabricator at Kansas Composites and Metal Fabrication, where critical components for aircraft were installed. Grant earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Kansas.
